Voluntary Organizations

The Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations was set up by the Voluntary Organisations Act 2007. It functions to promote the work of voluntary organizations (VOs) as well as encouraging their role as partners with the government in various initiatives.

The Office of the Commissioner is also the regulatory authority responsible for monitoring and supervising the activities of these organisations as well as supporting them. Registered voluntary organizations will be able to access various support initiatives.
Any voluntary organization can apply to be registered as a VO. More information on how to apply can be found here. Online enrolments are also accepted.
An updated list of registered voluntary organizations can be found here.
